Sanchez Ceren ahead 6 points in last polls by Data Research in El Salvador

Sanchez Ceren leads the polls with 31% of the vote, Quijano and Saca tie with 25%
The latest opinion poll conducted by Data Research reveals that FMLN’s candidate, Salvador Sanchez Ceren, leads voting preference for 2014 presidential elections in El Salvador with 31%, 6 percentage points ahead of the other two contenders, Mr. Norman Quijano and Elias Antonio Saca.
ARENA’s candidate, Norman Quijano, is tied with and the coalition Unidad of Tony Saca, both with 25% of preferences in voting intentions.
10% of the respondents left the ballot blank (not marked), 6% casted invalid votes. The rest (3%) was left for minority political parties.
Data Research conducted the survey using a simulation scenario that showed survey respondents the colors and emblems of all parties in the race for the Presidency in El Salvador’s coming election scheduled for February 8th, 2014.
The survey was carried out from 25th to 27th of October between 1,216 Salvadorans (48% male and 52% female), all citizens over 17 years old, and distributed within the 14 departments.
